Sleep? Long day was long!

I'm very politically involved and a volunteer for my state Greens party. I sold my soul to them eight years ago lol. Anyway, I was considering not going but a number of my friends were doing a shift today at the Midsumma Carnival so I went along and did a few hours there.

Raced home for my NDIS Support Worker but took longer to get home than I wanted cause PT. Gotta love Melbourne PT lol, so "helpful" but I'm glad she still came. She does a lot of bulk cooking for me which is so incredibly helpful cause I really struggle with cooking when it comes to my executive dysfunction.

While she did that I actually spent time tidying my living area which is looking so much better. We'll see how long it lasts.

Had a couple of hours break before going into a meeting for Message Stick work on basically being better allies to our First Nations people. That went for a bit over 90min.

A good day, don't get me wrong but damn I'm tired

Also probably doesn't help that instead of sleeping at 10pm last night like I usually do my body kept me awake and online until 1:30am hyperfocused on what I was doing and still woke me up at 6:30am like I normally do.

That was fun /facepalm

Wow! 2017... 13 years ago I was over-my-head busy as a political officer for my University (just to get a paycheck from the central office to blow on Chinese food and sometimes afford my course materials without asking for parental help). The exact title varied. Vice-President, Secretary, etc., but always something executive for the Off-Campus and Commuter Association, since I never lived on campus.
Dealing with other people is not my strong point, but I tried to learn from some of those around me.

Next semester (or is it the one after? Admittedly I don't really understand how the trimester system works because I've had fall and spring for so long I don't really know but probably) I was invited to live on campus in Britain (I live in the US at the present - in Pennsylvania) so I won't be able to resume my role with the organisation I mentioned at the beginning of this comment. :/ However, I went to all the meetings and held almost all the fundraisers.
I think that the lady who was in charge changed roles too so it might be that nobody really remembers me any more. D: Such is the way with politics, I suppose, right? Always changing to a new face.
I mean, theoretically I could, but the off-campus nature of my next move would be off my undergraduate campus, right? And I am applying for a graduate degree. I can't even remember for what right now, let me check my files...
Um...
Oh, it looks like I asked for Chinese! Hahaha. I might be medium-okay with political-science, rather. ._. IDK IDK IDK

Anyway, I have read a book from the library about the conflict between the Australian people and First Nations people about fifteen years ago. *trying not to feel old, because it takes that amount of time to formulate a good research project, right?* I hope that it gets better for you and everyone else over there soon! ^^

I THINK SO TOO or I hope so at least since if I were trapped in a boring major IDK what I'd end up doing with myself!

I guess you're right.
For a long time I have been trying to work on helping the people in northwest China since it seems to me they have had such limited resources. (Also, that is Tibet and my mother liked the Dalai Lama.)
